About Rebecca Shisler Marshall
After several trips to the doctor, potential diagnoses, a few suggestions, and no solutions, I decided there had to be a better way. Dizzy spells, high cholesterol, migraines, fatigue, stress, excessive worry, and self-critical thoughts were just a few of my symptoms. I didn’t want to take a pill or learn to ‘live with it,’ so I decided to make changes in what I ate and how I lived. I switched from fast food to a plant-based diet and dropped the sugar. Sleep, nutritious food, yoga, and meditation became priorities. My love for spirituality grew and I began teaching mindfulness and yoga, then expanding into life coaching, reiki, and shamanism. Through work with my clients, I’ve discovered there is magic in the fusion of these different techniques!
Researching mindfulness at the University of Georgia in addition to years of experience seeking alternative paths to healing, have allowed me to integrate wellness information across many areas and fields. I developed a framework using the 5 Wisdom Bodies, to help people feel better and have more energy. This framework uses a combination of food as medicine, mindfulness, coaching, Reiki, and shamanism, along with the crucial ingredient of compassion.
